Another 5 star review for 'Rosslyn Blood'
The following 5 star reader review appeared on Amazon.co.uk today:
"If the Da Vinci Code is an American Blockbuster, then Rosslyn Blood is BBC Comedy Drama serial - ie it has a sense of proportion and a sense of humour, unlike the former.
It chronicles the life of Sinclair Wallace as he goes on a voyage of undiscovery, realising with only mild outrage that the word is indeed generally as crap as he thought it was.
Sim guides us with a steady hand through an intricate plot, weaving his characters into the texture of the book in such a way that nothing seems unlikely, just bloody typical. The scenes, like the characters, are real and vivid, and sometimes frighteningly true to life.
There is no false drama, no cheap cliffhangers, and yet the book is every bit as dramatic and gripping as its more famous rival.
As for the denoument - I can only say, Don't, whatever you do, try this at home..."
