Alastair Sim's work in the writing and performing arts includes publication in Chapman magazine (issues 54 and 104) and on www.funscripts.com . He is part of the University of Glasgow 's MPhil programme in creative writing, which has produced best-selling and award-winning novelists in recent years including Louise Welsh, Anne Donovan,
Rachel Seiffert, Laura Marney and Zoe Strachan. As a performer, he has appeared in major theatrical productions including the Millennium production of Sir David Lindsay's 'A Satire of the Three Estates' in a new Scots-language version by Alan Spence, and as the comic lead in pantomime.
Alastair is currently completing his second novel, a thriller of drugs and the occult set on a Hebridean island.
Alastair has worked professionally at the heart of Scottish government and currently works for the University of Glasgow .
